The dancers were from Brigham Young University. There were five boys and fifteen girls in the dance. They have travelled to different parts of the world to perform dances. First the girls and the boys did a cowboy dance, then they did the crazy dance, the Ancient walking, Energy and many other dances. Mrs Caroline announced the dances. People from the neighbouring villages came to see the dance. The dancers worle colourful dresses. Mrs. Marilyn taught us movements like energy, space, shape, rock, wind, lighting, explode and collapse. Dr.Rajashekar translated the speech to kannada and Dr.George spoke in English. I had lot of fun watching the programme. After the dance was over we gave them each a rose. They were very happy. After they left I felt very sad. I liked all the dancers because the dancers wear colourful costumes and they had a lot of expressions. The dancers were very kind to us. They were very graceful, they dancers were very punctual and did'nt waste a little time also. I liked them. The school building was decorated with full of lights. The last dance was full of energy. We felt like dancing with them. We spoke to them for some time and then we went for dinner.

The Brigham Young University dancers did an excellent job by performing a variety of dances. They highlighted to us different aspects, views, ideas about dance and told us about what dance is. Mrs. Marilyn said, " That dance is creativity." There were twenty dancers (five boys & fifteen girls) They were all kind and loving. They were all professionals. Mrs. Marilyn taught us some of the moments like a rock, moving about in the wind, if there were a lightning and thunder. I t was a lot of fun doing all those with Mrs. Marilyn and some dancers helped her out like giving of bricks, holding down the plastic covers and letting them out and helping us to stand in our lines etc. The show started at 6:30 pm. The neighbouring village people were called to see the grand show. The dancers and all of us were excited to see the crowd, but a few students of the dance group were a little nervous like Kari but afterwards they felt better. They had rehearsed before the show. At the beginning Dr. George had spoke to us a few words and then it was Mrs. Law. The dancers were very glad to hear about what Dr. George and Mrs. Law has said to them. Dr. George said, "that for the first time a western ballet is going to be performed by Brigham Young University". Then we had Dr. Rajashekar translate it in Kannada. Afterwards Mrs. Caroline introduced all the dancers and announced the first dance is the rodeo dance of the cowboys in the west." It was colourful and lovely. They all jumped high and low and even used the whole space. The rodeo dance was enjoyable and we could also see the dancers enjoying themselves too. I felt like dancing on the spot. The audience were so happy and excited seeing the rodeo dance of the cowboys in the west. The BYU dancers were always punctual and were ready before each dance. The funniest of them all was the crazy characters. The dancers were dressed like a waiter, ballerinas, and people all over the world. There were even grandmothers and grandfathers. They were all making different kinds of sounds and rhythms. At last the show was over with a mixture of Jazz and Rock 'n' roll. Then the show came to an end. Our children gave roses to the people who had worked hard to fix the lights, costumes and maekups. Mrs. Caroline was given a bouquet for being a good director. I think that the BYU dancers are excellent ambassadors of their university. They are from the Dancer's Company.
